Our Journey
In 2020, just before COVID-19 changed the world, we were on the verge of launching Puppychinos Dog Bakery. It was a close call, but we felt like we dodged a bullet. A year later, with renewed determination, we found the perfect spot and took a leap of faith, diving in 100%.
Founded by Jennifer and Michael Lara, with the help of our beautiful daughters and, of course, our three Shih Tzus, Puppychinos is a family endeavor. Every treat is lovingly approved by our canine helpers and packaged in San Antonio, Texas. We are proud to be a women-owned and operated business.
At Puppychinos, we offer a delightful range of human-grade dog cakes and treats. We also feature small business-sourced dog toys, dog beer, party hats, and plenty of gifts for your fur baby.

Brownie-Mea
Meet Brownie-Mea, a resilient pup who, despite becoming disabled in 2022, lives her life to the fullest. She enjoys playing, eating, and sleeping just like any other dog and never misses a chance to sneak outside for some sunshine.
Ruby
Meet Ruby, she is the cherished offspring of Clover and Brownie-Mea, adopted into the family by our eldest daughter Sophia due to her unique health needs. As the house princess, Ruby enjoys a life of luxury, pampered just like her owner. She takes her role as the official treat verifier seriously, ensuring that all Puppychinos treats are 100% approved for pups everywhere.

Meet Clover, Puppu-Mike's Shih Tzu and the inspiration behind our meat line. His love for meat treats led us to create a selection just for him. As our official taste tester, he ensures that every treat is top-notch.
